Overview
The PRIMO PX4R is a high-quality Class D amplifier that delivers up to 250 Watts RMS to each of its 4 channels at 4Ω, and up to 700 Watts to 2 channels bridged at 4Ω, in a small size. It uses Mil Spec PCBs with Surface Mount Devices and MOSFET high-grade switching devices, and has 5-way protection circuitry and LED Clipping Indicators for front and rear. The built-in OEM Line Converter allows for easy installation in any system, with input sensitivity adjustable up to 10V RMS, an Auto Turn On circuit, and a 12 Volt remote output for external devices. It also complies with the Consumer Technology Association’s CTA 2006 Standards for Car Audio
Amplifiers and outperforms these standards, with a design goal of In Car Performance.
The PX4R has a smooth polished aluminum surface with the PRIMO logo glowing in blue, and features individual adjustments for front and rear levels, X1 / X10 Freq. Control Button for HPF / LPF adjustments, and a 0 – 12 dB variable Bass Boost on the rear channels. It also supports a "Docking Port" to plug in an optional custom matching 4 Farad Railcap Booster (RCP), providing maximum system flexibility.
