Overview

The PreSonus Quantum HD 2 is a 20-in/24-out, 32-bit/192 kHz USB-C audio interface designed to meet the demands of project studios and full band recordings. It features two newly designed MAX-HD mic preamps offering up to +75 dB of gain, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of microphones. Developed in collaboration with Fender®, the two front-panel instrument inputs are tailored specifically for guitar and bass, providing high-quality direct recording. Additionally, the Quantum HD 2 includes two re-amp outputs, allowing users to send audio from their DAW to external amplifiers and effects for re-recording, facilitating creative experimentation with different setups.

A full-color, high-resolution screen accompanied by an illuminated push encoder offers intuitive control over gain levels and output settings. The interface also boasts high-performance converters with a 124 dB dynamic range, ensuring pristine audio quality. Included with the Quantum HD 2 is a 12-month subscription to Studio One+ add-ons, exclusive content, and tools, along with a perpetual license to Studio One Professional Edition, providing a comprehensive software suite for professional recording and production.
